Bank lending surveys are conducted to obtain more information about non-interest loan conditions applied by banks, lending costs and market expectations. The objective of the survey of non-financial enterprises is the assessment of their demand for financial resources, changes of borrowing from credit institutions and changes of lending conditions. The Bank of Lithuania started the surveys of commercial banks in 2006, whereas non-financial enterprises were surveyed for the first time in 2011. Reviews of the surveys are published twice per year (in April and in October).
