May 13, 2016 In March 2016 the country’s balance of payments recorded a deficit in the balance of foreign trade and primary income, which resulted in the formation of a negative EUR 685.7 million current account balance. According to preliminary estimates, in January–March 2016 the current account deficit amounted to EUR 511.1 million, or –6 per cent of GDP.
