At present, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 litas denomination banknotes, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 centas and 1, 2 and 5 litas denomination coins are in circulation.

Litas banknotes have been produced by banknote printing companies with old currency printing traditions. These are modern banknotes protected with the most recent banknote security features. Litas and centas coins are minted at the Mint of Lithuania following the minting standards applied in the world and using the newest technology.
