KUBAS
KUBAS is the payment system for performing payment operations of credit unions. Its operator is the Central Credit Union of Lithuania. The system was registered at the Bank of Lithuania by the Resolution of the Board of the Bank of Lithuania No. 11 of 12 February 2004.
KUBAS forms an infrastructure for making payments of credit union members and credit unions themselves. It also allows making payments between KUBAS participants and credit institutions participating in the payment systems of the Bank of Lithuania. Such payments in the system KUBAS are called external payments. They are performed through the settlement account of the Central Credit Union of Lithuania (CCUL) with the Bank of Lithuania.
Credit unions belonging to the CCUL are the participants of KUBAS. A comprehensive list of system participants is provided in the Official Systems List.
