One of the functions of the Bank of Lithuania is to encourage stable and efficient operation of payment and securities settlement systems. In performing this function, the Bank provides settlement services, conducts the oversight of payment and securities settlement systems and coordinates the participation of market participants in international projects (SEPA, T2S).
